Warm, even hot, weather has come to Maine, reminding us all why we live here: it is CRAZY NICE in the summer months.  In Oak Street related news…I am taking a short break from putting up proper pages, but I will continue to make watercolors and post them.  Incidentally, I am pleased with this image.  I think that the more I do watercolor the more comfortable and, eventually, capable I become with it (I know, I know, the idea of practicing something to become better at it makes almost no sense).

OSW is going to be the official sponsor of a Portland Summer League team!!! Captained, of course, by myself and the Ice Cream Maestro.  I am currently raising money to support this move, so expect some original OSW artwork for sale soon!  Exciting!!!

So yeah. . . Book 2 end.  This whole chapter feels like it came off a little more heavy handed then I might’ve liked, but I won’t be able to tell until I look back on it a couple weeks from now.  If you have thoughts or questions regarding this chapter’s end, please let me know via email.

I had forgotten the difficulty of getting OSW done after work and a scrimmage….let alone doing taxes.

Basically, the schedule has secretly shifted towards the end of the week.  Whatever you do though, don’t tell me that, otherwise it’ll start coming out even later….like wednesday the NEXT week.

Yeah I was a little tired of rainy, dark fall days.  Seriously, it was 80 degrees yesterday here in Portland!!  So I decided to work on my DECIDEDLY LACKING watercolor skills.  That branch is total a Bill Waterson tribute.  Oh, and the color of the tree’s leaves is way more of a springy yellowish green on the original.  The chapter’s penultimate (probably) page will come sometime next week.

It sure took a while getting this one up.  Truly, I am a despicable person.  Now, if you don’t mind, I will venture outside to revel in the warm sun.

Well, we’re getting there….albeit slowly.  Have a nice rainy day, or, I suppose,  unrainy day, if you happen to live somewhere less pouring.
